Research by the Ponemon Institute revealed that in 2014, nearly 47% of American adults had their information exposed by hackers. Experts agree that’s a conservative estimate but the New York Post definitely agrees. One in three of the people we surveyed reported that they, or someone they knew, had been hacked.
